Not sure why they have been getting some bad reviews but burgers were good. I purchased 2 cheese burgers, a banquet burger, poutine and a Dr. Pepper. I was expecting an average poutine, considering some of the recent negative reviews. But it was better than most places that I have been to, in regards to poutine. It has a nice cheese to gravy ratio. They have some seating outside to enjoy your food. Staff are pleasant and customers are very friendly. I noticed the sense of community while I was there. Staff greeted customers like family and other customers interacted with a child there and were playing together and laughing. Would come here again when in the area.

We’d often seen Sonny's Drive-In from the outside, and one day, we finally decided to give it a try — and we’re so glad we did! The atmosphere inside was light and welcoming, setting the perfect mood for our meal. We ordered the chicken wrap and burger, and the food was simply outstanding. The chicken was perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor; we honestly haven’t had chicken this delicious anywhere else in Brampton! From the first bite, we were hooked. One tip for anyone visiting: make sure to bring cash, as Sonny’s is cash-only. While they do have an ATM on-site, it’s always best to avoid those extra fees if you can. Sonny's Drive-In is a must-visit if you're in Brampton and craving a flavorful, hearty meal!

The food was amazing. We had the fried chicken on a bun (not bad, good portion) but the sausage on a bun was absolutely to die for. We will 1000% be going back and have been craving it since we had it. Simple place, simple menu, excellent food. There are a few picnic tables outside and no room to stand/sit inside. The day we went, it was raining so we stood outside barely for a moment and then ended up eating in our car. Some seats on the covered patio would've been helpful but irrespective, we will be going back.

We used to come here when I was in high school in the 80's to get fries and gravy. I can't believe it's still there. I remember the people working there. I doubt they are still there. They'd probably be in their 80's by now . Nice friendly people. They had a sonny's where I live now that closed recently. Had the same nostalgic food.

We had the bacon burger, double banquet burger, jumbo hot dog, and fries and onion rings combo. It was fantastic! Big portions, so come hungry. Personally, don't forget to ask for salt because I like my fries saltier.

Old school diner feel. A great Burger & fries. An even better chicken club! Will definitely be back

This place is LEGENDARY!!!! Its been around since the 90's!! I remember coming here in 1997 when I was a small kid, haha. I cant believe this place is still around. My family used to own the coffee time at the plaza next door

Please stay open forever. This is a genuine drive in fast food restaurant. The food is of a high calibre. Burgers are charcoal grill, best I’ve had in so many years. Onion rings are so slight and crispy. I don’t like drenched batter. My son had the jalapeno poppers and said that the flavours were layered. He wouldn’t let me try one. Prices were perfect. Please never close.you’ve been open for 61 years this year and that is well deserved. Today was the first of many of our visits.
